Glacier National Park offers some beautiful hiking opportunities. Spring has it’s own charm, vibrant colors, glistening snow melting and active wildlife. Although the Going-to-the-Sun road is currently only open to Lake McDonald Lodge, there are still trails that are open, a little snowy, but open.
Remember that bears are now getting out for some fresh air and exercise as well. Please employ good bear avoidance practices and carry your bear spray. Resources for bear avoidance, safe use of bear deterrent and tips for hiking with children can be found on our website and Facebook Page.
